Once they’re in the sewer system, they coagulate and end up blocking the pipes. They can also lead to problems with pests in your kitchen. Not only that, fats, oils and grease can cause property damage, environmental problems and health hazards.

As you’ll be aware, it’s crucial not to pour grease down the sink, because it causes expensive problems. Instead it should be caught in a grease trap and disposed of properly.
